Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City Water System, Sewer System, all city streets and related signage, city grounds and parks, and all public infrastructures. The Department has 6.5 full time positions; .5 Director of Public Works, 2 Water/Wastewater Superintendents, 1 Water / Wastewater operator, 1 Public Works Leadman and 2 Utility Workers. Public Works operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and encompasses state environmental regulatory compliance, engineering and emergency response.
